Baked Chicken Parmesean

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 4 servings tomato sauce
  • 1c bread crumbs-italian style
  • 6 slices thin sliced provolone cheese
  • 1/2c parmesean cheese-grated
  •  1 egg
  • 1c lowfat yogurt

1.) Mix the egg with the yogurt in a bowl.  Pour the bread crumbs in another bowl and mix with the parmesean cheese

2.) dip the thin sliced chicken coating both sides with the yogurt/egg mixture and then coat both sides with breadcrumbs

3.) Grease a pan and bake the chicken on 350 degrees until both sides are browned and chicken is cooked

4.) Pour tomato sauce in a glass baking dish and layer the cooked chicken breasts on top of the sauce.  Add the slices of cheese on top of each chicken breast

5.) Cover and cook in the oven at 350 degrees until chicken is fully cooked and cheese has melted

Serves 6.

Each serving:
311 calories, 11g fat, 21g carbs and 30g carbs
